Day 8.5: Final Touch Ups, and the "Just in Case" Fork

Very quick update before I go back to this - it's entirely possible that this build ends up being the final submission!

I received very helpful feedback in regards to last night's build, specifically, clicking on the newspaper with the correct amount of money when you're using a touch screen device would buy the trophy the second you were on the screen. 

I have adjusted this so that it works with both mouse and touch screen devices as expected. 

As a final polish step, I've also created a true "End" screen once the trophy had been bought, this is in response to players asking what they should do after the trophy. From here, if the player wishes to repeat the game then they absolutely can!

Signs have been redesigned - the text kept falling out of line with the sign itself, so I decided to do what I've done with most other elements in the game and hand-write on the assets.

The itch page itself has also been themed to match the game now, so it's not the glaring white default!
