Day 2!
Today was a slow day, mostly just adding some aesthetics again. Scenes now have gentle transitions between them, most notably the title screen. Ideally I'd like to implement a variant of this for the job select screen, zooming into the photo before loading the scene.
Instead of having just one obstacle for each item to overcome, I've decided to utilize all tools for the CRTV. Dust particle that you can brush away, hitting the TV gives you a gentle camera shake to let the player know they've use the tool correctly, and the pliers can now repair the antenna added on top of the TV. Do the dials do something? I'll never tell. (They don't yet.)
You can also put the tools down! The reason of which is the next feature:
For touch screen players, there's now a cursor so you can see where the last touch was. For mouse players, there's now a cursor that replaces your existing cursor. Kind of made me nostalgic for the 00's phase where you could download a flaming sword as a cursor (providing you installed the definitely /not/ malware that came with it.)
Hoping tomorrow is a bit more productive. I'd like to finish the TV scene at the very least, let the player know they've completed the fix, and give them the option to keep poking around, or go back to the job select. In an ideal world I'll have the second level done, at least visually.
Time for me to go to Analogue Asleepening!
